The 2025 BTCC season has arrived and Hyundai topped the timesheets with Team Vertu drivers Tom Ingram and Tom Chilton.

The pairing look to start the weekend strong as Ingram went more than half a seconr quicker than Chilton and was 7 tenths clear of the NAPA Racing UK's Ash Sutton and Dan Cammish, the latter set the joint most number of laps in the session with BMW's Daryl DeLeon. The two Ford drivers were split by newly signed Hyundai driver Adam Morgan as he gets comfortable with his new machinery.

The highest placed Independent Driver would be Mikey Doble finishing the session with the 7th fastest time just behind the third of the NAPA Racing drivers of Daniel Rowbottom. Following them would be the two newcomers of Charles Rainford and James Dorlin. The two of them would be followed by Chris Smiley's Restart Racing Hyundai who rounds out the top 10. Doble, Rainford, Dorlin and Smiley alongside the trio of Josh Cook, Ronan Pearson and Daniel Lloyd would all be seperated by just 0.106 of a second by sessions end showing how tight it can be.

With just one more practice session to go before the first qualifying session of the year, who can go into the rest of the weekend with the most momentum?
