2017 British GT Champion Seb Morris will continue to race in the GT4 category for 2025 but with a different co-driver. He will be joined by Ed McDermott for his 2025 campaign in the Team Parker Mercedes-AMG GT4.

Morris not only won the 2017 British GT Championship but also won the GT4 Pro-Am championship with Charles Dawson last season. With the same manufacturer he won that title with, he will compete in the Endurance Cup rounds alongside McDermott who due to personal and business reasons cannot compete in any other of the events this year. This will be McDermott’s third season in the Mercedes-AMG having competed with Motus One, One Motorsport, Team Abba and Paddock Motorsport.

The team will race at Donighton twice, Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps as they look to take the Endurance Cup against some difficult competition like Jolt Racing with their McLaren and MKH Racing with Aston Martin. They will also be running a Zakspeed-inspired livery in a similar design to what Kurt Thiim and Roland Asch won races in during the 1992 DTM Season.

After signing, Ed McDermott said: “I am thrilled to be returning to the British GT Championship, a series I truly enjoy. Due to time constraints, the Endurance Cup provides the perfect alternative to a full-season campaign, as otherwise, I may have only been able to enter select rounds. With my third child on the way and business commitments keeping me busy, this format works perfectly. I am delighted to be teaming up with Seb; he is a proven race winner, and I am eager to learn from him. Team Parker Racing’s experience and success in the series make them the ideal team to work with, and I cannot wait to get started!”

Seb Morris said: “I am delighted to return to British GT alongside Ed. This partnership is exciting, as we already share a strong friendship, and I am looking forward to helping him develop as a driver. Together, we will be a competitive pairing in the Endurance Cup. Ed has made it clear that he wants to fight for overall podiums, and I will be doing everything possible to make that a reality. With such a strong line-up at Team Parker Racing, 2025 promises to be an incredibly exciting season, and if we perform well, we could even challenge for the Teams’ title.”
