Team founder Andrew Howard will be joined by Tom Wood as the pair look to go for the Silver-Am title. Howard is a two-time champion in the series while Wood raced here in 2018 and 2019 in GT4 before making a one off appearance alongside Howard last season.
After an impressive performance together last season where they finished sixth overall and second in the Silver-Am class with Fastest lap, the pair return as a full time team for 2025 continuing on in the Silver-Am class.
The team began using Aston Martin's in 2008, having used a Ferrari 360 Modena the previous year in the GTC category. Since then they have used a variety of Aston Martin's across both the GT3 and GT4 classes. With cars like V8 Vantage N24 in GT4 and the DBRS9 and V12 Vantage in GT3, they now run the Vantage AMR in GT3 for 2025 with a very different livery after taking on sponsorship from fast rising food chain Sides.
After signing, Tom Wood said: "I’m really excited to be joining Beechdean AMR for my first full season in the British GT Championship, especially in such a milestone year for the team. After a strong race at Brands Hatch last season, it’s great to continue alongside Andrew and get the opportunity to race the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 for a full campaign. I’m looking forward to the challenge, and with the experience and support of the team behind us, I’m confident we can fight for some great results this year."
Andrew Howard added: "Celebrating 15 years in British GT with Aston Martin Racing is a fantastic achievement for Beechdean Motorsport. We’ve built a strong legacy in the championship, and with Tom continuing alongside me, we’re ready to push for success in 2025. Partnering with Sides is a great step forward for the team, and we’re incredibly grateful to all our sponsors and supporters who continue to back us. It’s shaping up to be an exciting season."
