The second round of British F4 saw Chase Fernandez take victory after making an early move for the race lead.

After starting from second place, Fernandez made a swift move on pole sitter Joel Bergstrom to take the race lead but would then come under pressure from Martin Molnár throughout the rest of the race. The young Brit would show excellent steadiness and great pace to just pip last season’s Rookie Cup winner.
Behind them would be Bergstrom who had dropped to 5th by the checkered flag but 5 second time penalty’s for Rowan Campbell-Pilling and Adam Al Azhari meant they would fall down the finishing order, giving Bergstrom the final podium spot. James Piszcyk and Leo Robinson would also be beneficiaries from these penalties taking the final top 5 positions. Harri Reynolds would win in the Challenge Cup class ahead of Rookie Cup winner Fionn McLaughlin who makes it two for two in 2025.
Campbell-Pilling and Azhari would finish in 8th and 9th respectively after their penalties ahead of Xavier Avramides and Thomas Bearman who both finish on the Rookie Cup podium. Bearman was leading the rookie cup by race end, but he received a 5 second time penalty himself him to 11th overall and third in the class. Race 1 race winner August Raber would finish outside the points while once again Henry Joslyn who took both race 1 and race 3 poles would fail to finish once more.
After winning race 2, Chase Fernandez said: “I am absolutely over the moon, buzzing with that result, what a race! Didn’t really have to do much it was a bit boring out front, but we love boring races if we’re out front and we can run away it’s perfect that is what we are here for.” He then added “It was a proper good launch off the line; I managed to get Joel into turn 1 it even amazed me so got the lead there and it was light’s to flag from there.”
